Education

Christy Fogg, MSW, LCSW received her Bachelor’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University with a double-major in Psychology and Addictions Counseling. She received her Masters in Social Work from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).  Christy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Indiana. She completed EMDR training and is currently working towards certification.  She has been a practicing therapist since 2009, and is licensed to practice in Indiana, Colorado, and Florida. 

Hobbies

Christy’s favorite things to do are spend time with her husband, daughter, and son, and be with family and friends. Christy also enjoys traveling, reading, writing, shopping, and attending sporting events and concerts.

Christy uses an eclectic, multi-disciplinary approach in working with her clients.  Some therapeutic approaches Christy integrates into therapy are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Family Systems, Emotionally Focused (EFT), Motivational Interviewing, and Structural Family Therapy.
